The virus outbreak has caused many Seattle area events to change their schedules. Here is a list of the information we’ve received. If you know of an event that’s been changed, please let us know and we’ll add it to this list.

Still On Schedule or Modified

March 12: Authors Julie Paschkis and Margaret Chodos-Irvine speak about the new book WHERE LILY ISN’T. This event is still scheduled to happen at Secret Garden on Thursday, 12 March @ 6:30pm.

March 14: SCBWI-WWA Event: Linda Camacho’s Roundtable Critique will be offered via Zoom Conferencing at a new time on Saturday, March 14. Session 1 will take place from  9:30 – 11:00 am. Session 2 will take place from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm. There are still a few spots available to have your first 500 words or a picture book dummy critiqued live. Don’t miss out, REGISTER FOR ROUNDTABLES HERE. (If you are already registered , you do not need to do anything at this time and will receive instructions for connecting to Zoom in advance of the session.)

March 14: SCBWI-WWA Event: Linda Camacho’s Master Class Workshop, “Starting and Ending Stories with a Bang,” will be held via Zoom meeting. The time for this event will remain the same, from 1:30 – 4 pm. REGISTER FOR WORKSHOP using this link. (If you are already registered , you do not need to do anything at this time and will receive instructions for connecting to Zoom in advance of the session.)

Books for Linda Camacho’s talk at the (cancelled) SCBWI meeting Saturday, 14 March are available for purchase at at Secret Garden. Books include:

Cancelled

March 14: SCBWI-WWA monthly meeting. The “in person” meeting has been cancelled. However please check the listings above for rescheduled events.

March 24: Panel of authors Jody Little, Kristin Thorness, and Gabrielle Byrne at Secret Garden has been CANCELLED.
