Beth Stanton and Kirby Larson believe that Friday the 13th (of March) can indeed be a lucky day for the wonderful literacy organization, Page Ahead (http://www.pageahead.org/). On this lucky day, Page Ahead is hosting their annual A Taste For Reading Luncheon. Beth and Kirby are hoping you can join them! Attending this luncheon supports Page Ahead’s mission to get books into the hands of kids who really need them.
A luncheon full of friends, emotions, and readings
Page Ahead is the leading provider of children’s books and literacy services in Washington state, serving more than 850,000 children with 3 million new books since 1990. At this luncheon you’ll be moved by the stories of families who’ve been impacted by Page Ahead, and delighted by presentations by students who have benefited from Page Ahead’s programs. Last year, luncheon attendees enjoyed a Reader’s Theater performance of our own Bonny Becker’s A Visitor for Bear, performed by students from a local elementary.
