You may have already noticed that we recently migrated our email service to ConstantContact. We’re excited about this switch because we hope the new system will allow us to serve you better in the future. How?
This new contact management and email system allows us to give you more control over your own data and what emails you’ll receive from us. At the end of every email you receive from us, you’ll see an “Update Profile” link. We hope you’ll take a few minutes to click this link to add yourself to new groups you’d like to know more about, such as the geographical area networks, affinity groups, or particular areas of interest!
When you click the link, ConstantContact will send you an email with a link to your profile. This is for your security! Click the link in that email and you will be taken to your Profile page.
First, you’ll have a chance to add some additional information we might not have for you yet. This is entirely optional!
Next, you’ll have the option to unsubscribe from everything (but we sure hope you won’t!).
Then, you’ll get into the fine-tuning…
Please make sure at least one of the following boxes is checked! Otherwise, you won’t get any of our general-interest emails. It should probably look like this:
Next up is our new affinity groups. Select the ones that you identify with.
Now, for your specific creative interests. Select as many as you like.
Finally, the geographical area networks. Select the local groups you’d like to receive information from.
Don’t forget to click the Update Profile button at the bottom!
And that’s it!
We hope that being able to gather this additional information will help us target our information better, so we can let you know about what you want and not bother you with the stuff you don’t.
