Preview of 2019-2010 Monthly Meetings

We’re looking forward to a new season of monthly meetings jam-packed with masterful speakers offering powerful messages for writers. This Professional Series of meetings will take place monthly on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m at Seattle Pacific University (3307 Third Ave W., Seattle), with the exception of our October 12th kickoff meeting, which will be held at Seattle Central Library (1000 4th Ave, Seattle) so that our members can participate in the Washington State Book Award festivities that weekend.

Affinity Groups

This year, we’ve added early morning affinity group socials, with coffee, tea, and breakfast treats, from9 to 9:45 a.m. Each Professional Series meeting will host a different affinity group social. Affinity groups include: All Voices Inclusivity, LGBTQ+, Self-Publishing, New Members, Illustrators, Nonfiction, and more. Watch our calendar for updates about affinity group social dates!

Purchase a Passport to make entry to each meeting easy, fast, and less expensive. Passport holders get early-bird benefits, too. Your Passport purchase includes: entry into all monthly meetings, early registration opportunities for agent/editor consultations, and more!

Purchase your Passport before September 1 and receive our early bird discount—$40 for SCBWI members/$80 for non-members. This is a savings off the regular price of $44/$88.
